Industrial PhD project funding approved

Congratulations to our colleague Victor Chrone on his PhD project funding!
Victor started at Alphalyse as a student assistant while finishing his MSc in Computational Biomedicine. After graduating, he joined our bioinformatics team to focus on machine learning and big data management.
Victor has since developed several tools for analyzing datasets generated by mass spectrometry and combining learnings from our more than 400 host cell protein (HCP) analysis projects.
We are excited to share the news that Victor will begin his industrial PhD project with us this fall, which will center around developing a deep learning-assisted platform for HCP characterization in complex drug products.
